Dean of CIU - Dick Zigun
Known as the Mayor of Coney Island, Dick Zigun is the catalyst that drove Coney Island's rebirth. Fighting to preserve Coney's personality while working hard to revitalize the area, he is at once the call to action and the voice of reason. He holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is an authority on amusement parks, American popular theater and the history and tradition of the American sideshow.

Prof. Adam Rinn
Known as Adam the First Real Man, Professor Adam Rinn grew up in Coney Island and is both highly talented and highly professional. Adam both performs and teaches the Sideshow Arts, blending Borscht Belt Humor and Martini Lounge suave.

Prof. Charlie Denson
Professor Denson is the foremost authority on the history of Coney Island. Author of the bible for Coney Island enthusiasts, Coney Island Lost and Found, Charlie is working to keep the history of Coney Island alive and working hard to ensure its greatness in the future.

Beauty and brains combined, Professor Jo Weldon is a legend in the world of Burlesque and a role model to many young girls. She heads up the Burlesque department at Coney Island University, the best in the nation.

Prof. Kevin C. Downs
A lover of Coney Island and New York City, Professor Downs has been involved in every aspect of Photography for more than twenty years. He also works hands-on with his students, exploring the rich visual landscape that is Coney Island.

Queen of Sideshow Banner Art, Marie Roberts was born into the family and came home to her roots in Coney Island. She is well known throughout the world for her beautiful Sideshow banners and also for her knack for teaching.

A Coney Island Film expert and independent film revolutionary, Prof. Leddy heads up the illustrious Coney Island Film Festival and helps instill knowledge about the finer visual arts in our student body.
